On Thursday 27th July ’17 i was booked into your premises at Blacktown for the fitment of a canopy to my Isuzu D-Max.
Prior to this I had fitted to the tray - a hard fibreglass cover. I had removed all parts of this cover with the exception of the bracket along the leading edge of the tray thinking that it would be a simple job for your fitters to remove.
This turned out to be a false as the Isuzu fitter had effectively glued as well as pop riveted to the tray. The pop rivets were easily removed but it seemed a near impossibility to remove the ‘glued down’ bracket without destroying it.
Your fitter, Allen, was very astute in inviting me, through the sales personnel, to inspect the job and discuss the difficulty of the bracket removal. If the bracket were destroyed this would have cost many hundreds of dollars to replace (if at all) and it would have severely limited my chances of reselling the rigid tray cover.
While Allen used the time to work on other jobs I was able to painstakingly work on the bracket removal. Allen was able to give me advice, some assistance and was generous in lending me tools from his personal kit. Eventually, after two and a half hours, I was a able to free the bracket in good condition. Allen was then able to work on my job.
I wish to recognise the friendliness and cooperative nature of the staff that I dealt with at Blacktown, including salesperson Chris, but in particular that of Allen who was was considerate, helpful, cheerful and did a first class job of the installation of the canopy to my Isuzu.
I would strongly recommend your product and services to anyone.
Yours in appreciation
